CHAROITE SIBERIANS

Sled dogs are like no other dog. We always have one eye on the far distance and our noses in the air, searching for the scent of winter. Life with us is fun, exhilarating and occasionally frustrating. We can be a challenging breed and are certainly not the right dog for everyone. A lot of people are naturally drawn to our stunning looks but we are so much more than just a pretty face. We are athletes, magicians, acrobats, opera singers, demolition experts and the joyfully remorseless slayers of small furry animals, frogs and birdies. We will trash your garden, empty your bank account and steal your heart.

Welcome to the homepage of Charoite Siberians, a small sprint racing kennel based at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Much loved pets and friends first and foremost, the colder months see us racing with Mel, Kev and our husky team-mates at Mystic Energy at forests around the UK. We usually run on dry land but this winter has seen the first sled races in this country for a couple of decades, let's hope this welcome cold season is the first of many ! We've had a fantastic winter with Beany's pups Pyewacket and Brew making their race debut in style and all the dogs making us proud with 17 top 3 places since November ! Time for some great training and fun runs now over the Spring and Early Summer as well as lots of walks the odd dog show and chill out time at home.
