CHAROITE SIBERIANS

Pyewacket and Brew are the two boys I kept from Beany's (Aceca's Witchy Woman of Charoite) litter to Ch Kefeus Tigalda Tsilga at Azgard. Calvin went to live with Emma Gration and Henrik in Scotland and Slash is with Ian and Lesley Robinson a bit closer to home in South Yorkshire. Pye literally hit the ground running. Well, after a difficult entry into the world he eventually popped out with all four legs pumping the air and screaming his head off. Happy-go-Lucky Brew had an easier time. It has been very exciting watching these lovely brothers mature.

They made their debut on the race trail this season and have more than lived up to expectations ! The boys are both hard driving leaders who have been happy to run at the front of almost every team we have put out this winter, including two 6-dog teams. Anyone who's helped us set up this year will be able to confirm they are just a little bit enthusiastic at the start. They are also a real pleasure to have around, being very different in personality to each other but both a joy to live with.

Both of them were shown last year and qualified for Crufts their first time in the ring with a 1st and a 2nd under Barbara Stanier at LKA. Pyewacket was shown all summer and came just a couple of points short of earning a junior warrant title. Brew decided showing was all a bit of a bother and couldn't relax in the ring so was taken out to grow up a bit ! He will have another go this summer depending on whether he can keep still long enough. Hopefully their brothers Slash and Calvin will also be giving the showing lark a go, after working hard on the trail for their owners all winter !

Both the boys have clear eyes. Brew has a hipscore of 0-0 like his mum Beany. Pye has not his hips scored yet.
