"Raven"

Born 18th August 2006

Raven is one of Charoite's big personalities. An breathtakingly beautiful (well, I think so anyway!) Siberian and a talented, hard-driving little sled dog who is happiest running full tilt with her big boys, Pye and Brew. She veers between Princess and Tom-Boy, adores all humans, plays horribly rough with other Sibes and takes no prisoners.

Raven and Tigerlily were best friends until they fell out one time too many. Their relationship is a bit strained but still close in that the girls are passionately jealous of each other so remain inseperable. Who says dogs can't be complicated ?

As a young puppy, Raven did extremely well in the show ring winning  numerous Best Puppy in Breed placings at Open and Championship shows. She started to enjoy showing a bit too much however and began to see the whole thing as a blast and became hilariously naughty in the ring with antics including a vertical take off onto the judge's table (not being a table breed!), pouncing on and ripping up a bin bag in the middle of her triangle and going round the big ring at Crufts several times without a single foot seeming to touch the floor ! We only show very lightly and the past couple of years have seen her nevertheless win Best of Breed under breed specialist Andrew Grisbrooke and Reserve Best Bitch at the Siberian Husky Club Northern Show. This year has been promising with Raven showing a slightly calmer side and winning placings by Krys and Brunette Greenland and most recently earning her KC Stud Book number with a Limit win under Julie Foard at Three Counties Championship show.
